Overdue Post: Cue Modern Barbecue

Early this year, my girl friends and I went to Cue for dinner. We were happy with our orders, so I asked Mr.Panda to visit Cue again. This time maaga pa, so na-appreciate ko ang interiors niya hihi :)

Free Popcorn!

Crunch Baby Squid

The Baby Back Ribs

Peso Power:
- 4/5   :)

Mrs. Panda's Foodie Views:
- love the bulb-chandeliers!
- servings are ok for 2 pax :)
- cozy and perfect for casual dates

Overdue Post: IHOP BGC

When IHOP opened in BGC, facebook posts and twitter were all about IHOP. I was dying to try IHOP, because most of my friends and relatives from US called it their comfort food too. Then my former boss told me "not sure if you'll like it, pancake house is way better" na-crash ang IHOP dreams ko, because I don't even like pancake house that much.

We live a few blocks from IHOP and we will always see the long lines of waiting customers even on weekdays! Mr. Panda and I decided to give it a try. Tama ang boss ko (no offense to IHOP fans)

I love that they have buzzers! ang hirap kaya magtawag ng waiter mangangalay na arms ko minsan.

Splashberry - 3/5

Tropical Island Twist - 2.5/5

Original Buttermilk Pancakes - 3/5
- dry ang pancakes
- if walang butter na sobrang konti lang ang lagay nila, wala talaga lasa
- mas ok pa ang maya pancakes and dairy creme combo

Double Blueberry Pancake 4/5
- sabi ni Mr.Panda ang score

Breakfast Sampler 4/5
- because anything with bacon deserves a high score haha :)

Peso Power:
- expensive for the food's quality

Mrs. Panda's Foodie View:
- the ambiance is very nice, the couches are a bit uncomfy
- i love the buzzers
- their waiters are attentive too!
- however, i might not return anymore. Ok na sakin natry na namin :)

Christmas gifts = Shoebox Love

I'm still doing my shoebox-es loves and I realized I have no more shoeboxes left.  I called my mom already to send me some so I can finish my shoebox loves in time. And since we have so many friends (yes, medyo marami din nagtyatyaga sa amin ni Mr. Panda hihi) marami - rami ako gagawin shoebox loves. Hindi naman po sila typhoon victims (thank you lord), but instead of giving them gifts, we will make shoeboxes under their names. As I've mentioned at my previous blog post, we reallocated our remaining Christmas shopping funds. We usually shop early especially for the kids. We usually start our Christmas Shopping with the kiddos gifts, its more fun to shop at the toys section hihi! :)

Here are some samples of our shoebox - es loves:

Our friends are really happy and touched :) We will be spending the next two weeks for our projecct shoebox love and we are thankful for this chance to help and give some love to the typhoon victims.:)

Its 31 Days to go before Christmas! :)

The Pandas' Christmas Tree 2012

Last year was our first Christmas as a married couple, we have our own place and we're super excited to put up our very own Christmas tree. We only bought a modest-size tree because of our cozy space too! We bought few Christmas decors too. Because we know we're moving after a year, nanghihinayang naman kami bumili ng madami decors.

Here's our starbucks, chubby santas and nutcrackers theme tree! (my favorite things!)

My best friend gave me limited edition of Starbucks coffee beans in cutesy size ages ago, I kept them and promised myself I will use them one day as Christmas decor :) :) :) my best friend lives in SF for the past few years, and this is one of my ways to cope up bec i'm missing her so much esp on Christmas.

Nutcracker Soldiers from Cuenca Bazaar
Mini Starbucks - We collected them over the years (Mr.Panda and I started buying them during our first Christmas together as a couple)

Chubby Frosted Santa balls from Rustans

Close up of nutcracker and mini starbucks :)

Unfortunately for this year, we're moving out of our first home (gate of tears - please don't open now). We are moving next year to our future home for the next 5 years.... We'll stay with our parents muna since Christmas season din. My parents will put up our family tree and I will probably dress it up the way I used to do. I want snow flakes theme this year! Maybe, I should start buying snow flakes na :) :) How about you guys? Kamusta ang Christmas Tree planning niyo? :)
