Yes i'm still alive!

Yes, I'm still alive :)

Mrs. Panda is in between places right now. We're still waiting for our papers from USCIS but the hubby's big boss is confident we will have a snowy Christmas this year. We extended our lease for our condo for a another 2 months because we thought that is the best option for us....... the owner of the condo offered to sell to us the unit (and yes im so inlove with our first home) but its only 1 bedroom and it wont serve us that much when we have a family na talaga.. Ayoko naman ipa-rent bec of the horror stories sa pag paparent. Ayoko na mastress haha.

I resigned from my job.... a little heartbreaking but I need to be ready if dumating na ang papers namin..... so the other big question what if hindi pa kami makaalis this year.... hubby said focus muna ako with my treatment.....

Treatment... I was diagnosed with  pcos a month ago.... after reading online re:pcos..... napraning ako haha. Yes, I'm a bad patient, mahilig ako sa self-diagnose! kaya pagdating ko sa doctor meron na ko cue cards and  certain expectations..... =/  I found good reviews about Dr. Judith Peralta of st.lukes and since we're two blocks aways from GC. Perfect :)  She's very nice and very easy to talk to. Very simple din ang explanation nya sakin kaya feeling mo ok lang ang lahat :) So far, I'm responding well to the treatment  sana mag tuloy tuloy na :)

 

 

I'm thinking of fixing my lay out :) will email Fancy Girl Design again :) I saw her works na and I'm so in love with her design... medyo sabog kasi ang blog ko and I plan to maintain my blog na talaga :) I know I may not be a good writer but I feel really happy after I blog. My two blog idols  are mommyfleur and Leah! and there's something in the way that they write their blogs... so pure and so raw :) no pretensions talaga. They're my secret pleasures too, never fails to cheer me up whenever I read their blogs.

 

 

Today is Friday! I hope this weekend will be fruitful for everyone! :)

Omg! July pa last post ko! Busy Bee to the nth level! I miss blogging!!! I hope everyone is doing ok and sa mga habagat victims.. I know how you feel, the parentals house is like a pool inside.... :( sana nakarecover na kayo.

Anyway, enough of nega vibes! I have so many drafts to post na napaglipasan na ng panahon! hihi :)
I'll start with my new favorite! Coldstone at Serendra! if batang-quad ka (old glorietta) and you're familiar sa baba ng Glicos Area, yung may bridge papunta sa park square. There's an old ice cream store very similar to Coldstone, parang its called "Copenhagen" and you can even put your own toppings! as in malunod ka sa m&m! I used to go there and nauubos ang patience ng papa ko kasi nagkakalat lang daw ako sa store hihi :)

Coldstone is my new "Copenhagen" except they control the toppings haha :)

Wednesday..... 2 tulog na lang Friday na!

Heya! I'm sorry I neglected my blog.... ang dami ko nga drafts sa folder ko pero hindi ko pa sila naayos. Ang daming ganap sa buhay :) but I'm thankful kahit super busy and 5 hours of sleep lang ako, a busy life means a life with work and other activities for me and hubby :)


Last weekend;

Saturday - uuwi na kami sa south sa parents house when we decided to drop by sm aura to check uniqlo sale, sa loob pala hindi na madami tao pero sa labas ang dami nakatambay.... we parked at their basement and to be honest nakakairita na ang layo ng ikot ng U-turn to go to the parking. Medyo madilim ang basement parking nila, scary to park pag mag last full show ka. We passed by their department store and Mr. Panda pointed out that Samsonite is on sale. I replied " babe, bka hindi na ko mag sammies sa trip natin, I'll buy american tourister na lang same makers naman sila" but Mr. Panda kept on walking to that direction. Sympre sumunod lang ako, 10 mins after...meron na kami handcarry na Samsonite s'cure and 30kilos na American Tourister. I'll post the pics soon! :) I love the Samsonite bec wala siya zipper,para sya lock n lock. The American Tourister naman is super lightweight! parang knapsack lang bitbit ko pag wala siya laman. We went to Uniqlo afterwards, and if our wallets can curse us.... well, yun na yun.


Sunday - fam-bam day with the in laws. its mil's birthday and last minute changes pa, she decided to celebrate her birthday at home. We planned to treat her out and let her pick her gift na lang. pero since sa bahay lang kami, dapat may dala kami.......... buti na lang BF homes is like a haven of restos and partyshops. We dropped by Contis for mango cake and dennis party shop for balloon bouquet :)



at sympre pag dating ng Monday - mancom meeting sa umaga and habol sa ibang to-do list sa hapon. Tuesday is something similar to Monday. Ewan ko lang if ganito din kayo but pansin ko pag Monday - pagod talaga pag uwian na. Tuesday parang Monday. Wed - medyo ok ok na ang paguran levels. Thurs is a bit more relax and Friday is Friday! :)

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery

My soon-to-bride friend and I did a Shangri-La ocular 2 weeks ago and we want to rest our tired feet afterwards. And of course with sweet foods! Our usual go-to are starbucks and cbtl but I've been dying to try Vanilla Cupcake Bakery for months! I'm so in love with their interiors! and for the first time, dumaan ako ng walang tao masyado! :) sorry for the blurry pics!

Weekend Great Finds!

This is a 3 week overdue post!

One rainy weekend, my wedding sisses and I went to QC for a girls staycation at Cocoon Boutique Hotel. We wanted to try something different and somewhere near the restos we wanted to try like Nomama's (which deserves another post) and buy Estrel cakes (major fail!).

On our way to the meet up point (aka d's home) we passed by uniwide and ever since I heard the news that uniwide stores are closing for good..... I asked Mr. Panda for a 10minute stopover. I bought the 150bucks per kilo of paper bags (super sulit! one paper bag usually cost 50pesos and up) I got 18 paperbags for a kilo. Then I saw this adorable pitcher for 29 pesos only :) perfect for tea-parties, eto yung juice or water pitcher haha :) can also be used as a vase (Martha Stewart lang ang peg)

 

 

 

We had lunch at chocolate kiss (not the UP branch) and there's a papelmelroti next door. If you're a kid from the 90s I'm pretty sure every xmas meron ka gift bought from papelmelroti :) and I found these pretty wall décor for around 220pesos each :)

Fathers day at Crustasia

 

 

It was three days before Father's Day when I realized the coming weekend is Father's Day na, I wanted to go Crosswinds Tagaytay, bec my papa likes the cold weather too and the swiss-looking houses :) kaya lang fully booked na lahat ng rooms nila kasi 3-bedroom suites daw full na din. I asked him where he wants to go, sabi niya sa malapit na lang bec rainy season na and he's not comfy when it rains (kasi lagi kami binabaha), we went to Rockwell and opted for Crustasia :)

 

 

What I like most about Crustasia..... is hindi sila puno haha. When we arrived there at 11:30 wala pa tao, kami lang ang customers.

Muji: Household finds!

 

Everytime, I passed by Muji, I would always go inside and look for something that I can buy. Unfortunately, I always end up buying their hotel-ish pillows. very good buy for 700plus :) I want to buy their organizers, but I saw similar ones at Japan 88 store, saizen or landmark for 1/4 of the muji's price. Then last week, Mr.Panda texted me to buy some cleaning tools (ako talaga bumibili bec I want a certain look sa cleaning tools, gusto ko white handles lang and gusto ko pristine white pa talaga). I went out during lunch time to pick up something at apple store at greenbelt. Muji is next door to Apple, and I remembered seeing mops there before. It took me less than 5 minutes the cleaning brushes that I'm looking for! 

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry, nabasa ko na kasi yung brushes kasi I spray it with Lysol agad (sorry oc ako sa ganito). The slim brush is perfect for corners and grime sa tiles this one cost less than 200, parang 180 lang ata. The wide brush is 250plus. and I like that the handle can move 180 degress. :)

 

 

I love it when I find things exactly how I envisioned it to be. (ang lalim haha)
