I just realized na almost lahat ng group chats ko with highschool friends, college friends and my cousins puro kiddie party discussion! :) so I researched for the packages of some of our favorite party venues! :)

7.  Max 's Restaurant

- I attended 3 birthday parties and 2 binyags :) out of 5, 1 lang ang medyo failed sa food. The chicken were dry and the chopsuey is soggy. But the other 4 parties, ok naman :)

- the first birthday of my goddaughter Louie was at Max Sucat Branch, I prepared an AVP for her and they let us borrow their screen and projector for free :)

- they also allowed us to have entertainment supplier outsourced like the bubble show and glitter artists.

Korean Beauty: Too Cool for School!

The newest mall in our city is right outside our subdivision.... as in sa kanto namin. If I was a teenager mallrat, this is great news for me! unfortunately, i'm a somewhat newlywed going to 80's (a cool thing for us are grocery and true value shopping and movie dates at home hihi) and a new mall only means additional "heavy" traffic for a very - trafficky subdivision of ours. But after almost 2 months of hating that new mall, hubby and I dropped by and check out the new SM BF City.... some stores are still closed, happy that there's Uniqlo and a soon to open Mango branch inside. Then, this store near the elevators at the 3rd floor caught my eye.

An artsy beauty store! Its a Korean beauty store that opened its first branch last April 2013 at SM Moa. The SM BF City Branch opened last November 2013 I believe, I got attracted to their non-girly interiors and dino- inspired corners :) (unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the dino pictures)

the salesgirls told me this is one of their best sellers the Egg Mousse Pack which is on B1T1 right nowuntil Feb 2 or until supply lasts! users claimed that this product lessen their pores :)

i like that almost all their cosmetics have samples :) they said their BB creams are the bestsellers

I went home with these :) I didn't buy any cosmetics because I have very sensitive skin I want to read reviews muna haha :) and we were in a rush also because pasara na the mall.

Overdue Post: Anniversary at Fire Lake Grill + Cafe Breton

Mr. Panda surprised me with a Tagaytay Trip for our 5th year couples-anniversary! ( I surprised him with the Spiral Dinner naman :) ) A very foggy Tagaytay  Trip! We can hardly see a thing while a driving...... But for the love of great food :) :) We had lunch at Fire Lake Grill, it was our first time there and we were very pleased with our food!

Katsu Craze continues: Yabu @ SM Aura

Last December, we dropped by at SM Aura for some errands. We were looking for a quiet place to eat and we finally found the "quiet" place at Yabu :) we were quite surprised to see only a couple of tables occupied. Because we're still on Saboten addiction, we want to try Yabu for comparison.

- a bit pricey

- service is a bit slow, konti lang kami customers that time but we have to make 2nd call sa server for water refill, cabbage refill

- Kurobuta Pork Set - when they said its the finest pork syempre I expected more, ok lang. Nothing special. Baka wrong timing lang kami.

-  Jumbo Prawn Set - Mr. Panda said its ok.

- there were still some cabbage on my plate and i asked the server to include it sa take-out bag. Server said she'll replace it with fresher cabbage pa. Pag-uwi namin, walang cabbage. Nyek.

Anniversary Dinner at Enderun Restaurant 101

Here's the part 2 of our first wedding anniversary! (Part 1 at Shang Palace)

Mr. Panda made reservations at Restaurant 101 at Enderun Colleges. Very fitting since we had our wedding reception at the Atrium and the Courtyard at Enderun. There were some hesitations because they're having the Dinner for a Cause, and Mr. Panda is a bit worried I may not enjoy the set menu. But he still proceed with the reservation, thinking that I will love the idea that all proceeds of the dinner will go to Yolanda victims. And tama naman siya talaga :) Our anniversary dinner had more meaning :)

Port Wine Marinated Foie Gras Pate

Grilled Wagyu Hanging Tender Steak,wasabi spinach, shallot confit, thyme potatoes :) YUM! :)

and the most awaited part.... LOUIS XV a dessert with chocolate ganache over crisp hazelnut sponge, has been raved about by food writers and was even part of Philippine Daily Inquirer’s list of Best Desserts in 2012.  When we are still preparing with our wedding preparation, we will always try to dine at Restaurant 101 unfortunately for us, this Chocolate piece of heaven is always unavailable. This is a signature creation of the world - renowned chef Alain Ducasse and this is only serve at his restaurant at Monte Carlo, Monaco and Restaurant 101 at Enderun. Sabi ni Mr. Panda i have hearts and stars sa eyes ko while eating this :) :)

- Sir Paco assisted us personally the whole time we were there and when we were finished and left the place. He even ran after us to say thank you and greet us happy anniversary again.

- Food is excellent :) Enough said. 

- Complimentary: petit fours (heavenly macaroon and madeleine)

- Compliemenraty: wine for our anniversary

- Waiters are attentive and it seemed like we have one assigned to us because he stood near our table and wala siya iba inaassist.

Will I go back again? YES! :) Enderun will always have a special spot in my heart :)
