Amorita 2013! Mini-Moon 1! :)

Mr. Panda and I decided that we will have a series of mini-honeymoons, instead of splurging in one trip alone. For our first mini-moon, we decided to go to Bohol...actually not really Bohol, but Amorita specifically. Topnotcher at tripadvisor, and it seems perfect for both of us. Mr. Panda is a beachlover and I'm a bedlover haha. Amorita boast of front beach location and hotel-standards amenities! We got the grand villa with the plunge pool :) :) And when we got inside our villa, right then and there we found our peg for our dreamhome!

Since our flight is cebu-mnl via PAL (bec of the scarcity of tagbilaran flights) we took the first morning flight to cebu to catch up the morning ferry shuttle to tagbilaran. We arrived at Mactan Aiport at 7am and took a cab (paid around P120.00) to go to the port of OceanJet  to buy the businessclass tickets for the 9:30 trip. Then we took a cab (paid around P50.00) again to the nearest Jollibee for breakfast bec there are no decent place to eat near the port. We stayed at Jollibee for 1.5 hrs then took a cab back to the port :)

Upon arriving at the Tagbilaran Port, the driver from Amorita is waving its welcome sign :) a new altis took us to the resort. The trip from Tagbilaran port to Amorita is around 1.5 hrs.

We took a quick lunch at Saffron Restaurant bec our tourguide for the countryside tour is 20mins away already. haha :) We got Kuya Rj from the referrals of GTalkers :)

This is our view while eating lunch :)

Chocolate Hills, when I was younger, akala ko totoo ang chocolate hills, totoong chocolate na pwede ko gamitan ng spoon and kakain ako ng chocolate haha :)

My kuya's bestfriend asked me to buy her the House of Ube pastillas, we were very happy na nagpabili sya! the pastillas are super yummy!!!!! :)

Man-made forest :) Sana lahat ng provinces meron nito :)

We got back at our hotel past 9pm, the Amorita staffs brought our bags to the villa already.

So sweet of Amorita!

The outdoor bathroom :)

Yummy treats from Amorita!

Sweet treat for the Honeymooners! :)

I stayed at suites before even 2 bedroom suites from fivestar hotels in Makati, and walang ganito! haha :) so happy with the free contents of the minibar!

My favorite sola iced tea and chuckie!

Amorita is very sensitive to their guests needs :)

Tips for first timers :)

1. Research, research and research :) especially the hotel location, marami ako nakita hotels while we were in the car na malayo sa beach but ang claim nila malapit lang sila (when i checked their websites before) hindi siya tulad ng Boracay, na even if nasa patio pacific there's an easy access to the beachfront :)

2. The cheapest place to buy Peanut Butter Kisses is at the Python's tourist spot, 140 for 16 pcs :)

3. Romantic ang loboc river sa gabi pero hindi sya ganun ka-saya compared to lunch. And medyo creepy din sya haha.

4. Please turn off the flash when you took pictures of the tarsier, nag suicide sila once na-stress sila, and the camera flash is stressing them.

5. Respect the historical spots, when we were waiting our turn for the picture taking at the blood compact site, some tourists are hugging the statues.......

6. Try the homemade ice-cream sa python's, promise masarap siya :)

7. If you're staying at Amorita, enjoy the hotel. If nasa villa kayo, try to have room service for lunch :)

8. Cebu: Buy shamrock, sa shamrock office. One box is 410.00 only, sa ibang stores 480.00 and up. Ayala mall is the best place to do quick shopping for me. Across the Ayala mall, there's the island pasalubong store, just ask the guards saan yung terminal ng jeeps and vans, ung malapit sa island pasalubong store. You just need to cross the street tapos andun the yung island pasalubong store, its a one-stop store for pasalubongs :) The mall entrance from the island pasalubing store, meron dun mga stalls ng accessories, keychains 6 for 100 and guitars. The small guitars for kids are 2 for 250pesos. The guitars for beginners are P1,100 last price is P900 but walang case. We went inside the gaisano department store and got a beginners guitar (slightly bigger dun sa stalls) for P950.00 but with case na! and mas maraming colors sa department store. We bought the pink one for our neice. :)

9. Mactan Airport: Dinner at zebuchon, lechon toppings. Super sarap! :) don't forget to buy their chicharon too! :)

10. Enjoy your trip and don't forget to wear anti-mosquito patches for the bohol countryside tour! :)
