CNY Dinner: Toho Restaurant Antigua

Another overdue post, our Chinese New Year Dinner! Hubby is busy with work and deadlines so we opted for a simpler CNY Dinner celebration. We went to the nearby mall and look for an authentic Chinese restaurant. And authentic it is! we end up with the oldest Chinese restaurant in Manila. Toho Antigua opened its first door in 1866 in Binondo. My maternal grandfather,my Tatang, was a big fan of this restaurant. My favorite branch is the one in Presidents Ave, BF Homes Pque. I'm happy they opened another branch in SM BF City. It only means tumitibay pa din ang Toho! haha! :)

Pata Tim

Halo (mix of pata hamon, bituka/dila, pork asado and lechon) this is my tatang's favorite and we always order this everytime we dine at Toho.

Camaron Rellenado

Mrs. Panda's Foodie Views:
- food is so affordable and big servings yung iba! :)
- hot and freshly cooked :)
- a must try for authentic Chinese food lovers!
- the branch is fairly new, medyo mabagal pa ang service
- the tables at the couch area are so close to the seats, ang sikip tuloy.

Will I go back?
Maybe not in this branch, will still go to my good old Toho at Presidents Ave :)
